It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Deaconess Mama Ebisiba Kwamboka Makori of Mwongori Settlement Scheme (Mekenene).

Loving wife of the late James Makori Maiso (Sauti ya Keroka). Daughter of the late Nyakoe Nyasani & Sabina Moraa. Mother of Joyce Manyaga,Wilson Gekonge, the late  Hellen Bosibori, Jennifer Kerubo (USA), the late Kennedy Mongare, Victor Makori (USA), Albert Makori, Gladys Nyatichi and Linet Nyasuguta (USA).

Mother-In-Law of Elder Caleb Manyaga, Alexina Gekonge, the late David Nyankuru, Fred Ondieki (USA), Everlene Mongare, Timothy Ondari (USA) & Nancy Bosibori. 

Grandmother of Azael, Anne, Brian & Yvonne; Maiso & Cliff; Dennis, the late Cliff, Sharon & Ian; Kristie & Lauren; Brian & Britney; Lovel, Neville, Junior Rehema & James; Jimmy, Richy & Ricky, Justin, Jaiden, Jonathan and Joshua.

Great grandmother of Troy, Toria, Hellen, Tyler, Ruby, Amari and Isla. Sister of (Jerusa, Mong’are, Moenga, Gechemba, Bironga, Nyaboke, Ogaro (all late), Jelia, Bikeri, Nyasani, Boto & Nyaboe.

Daughter in-law of the late Maiso Obongo, Pauline Kerubo & Salome. Sister-in-law of Morande, Gisemba, Kemunto, Mbogo, Meroka, Momanyi, Saisi, Mosima, Nyairo,  Ondieki (all late), Mary, Monyenye & Gesare.

Aunt of Kori, Ann, Nyakoe, the late David, Edward, the late Sabina, Getwambu, Peter, Nancy, Bob (USA), Maiso, Roadman, Ann, John Bob (Qatar), among others. Korera of the late Pst. Jonathan Auma & the late Buyeke, the late Tora & the late Fransisca, the late Nyankuru & the late Sibia, the late Pst Abere & Anna, Mr & Mrs Masara, the late Mr & Mrs Ondari, Mr & Mrs Okindo.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kenya Pipeline Estate, Muthaiga North, House No. G44 and at her home in Mekenene, Mwongori Settlement Scheme starting 4:00 p.m. for funeral arrangements.

The main fundraising to offset hospital and funeral expenses shall be held on Tuesday 15th October 2024 at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Old Sanctuary starting 5:00 p.m.

The cortege shall leave Ram Hospital on Thursday 17th October 2024 for a funeral service at Mekenene SDA Church.

Burial will take place on Friday 18th October 2024 at her home in Mekenene.
