ROSE KAGENDO NKONGE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Rose Kagendo Nkonge (formerly of CBA and AMLAB); announce her passing on 21st October 2024, following a long illness, valiantly fought.

Rose was the widow of the Late Eustace Kent Nkonge, son of the late Chief Petro Njeru M’Nkiria and the late Grace Kanonti M’Nkiria, Nkonge.

She is survived by her children, Grace Kawira Nkonge (Baltimore, USA), Peter William Njeru Nkonge (Baltimore, USA), Craig David Mutuiri Nkonge (Texas, USA), Esther Keeru Nkonge and Seven(7) grandchildren: Darjon, Kayla, Caia, Nkatha, Kathure, Makena & Nigel.

She is mourned and celebrated by the family of the late Eustace Nkonge including Hon. Miriti, Mbae, Bundi, Micheni, Kinyua, Dereba, Gitari, Gitonga, Kaari, Beth, Mary, Muthoni, Wanja, Kanini, Jeniffer, Karimi, Kanyua among others.

Daughter of the late Mwongera Njagi and the late Esther Njagi, Rose was small sister to Keah Kirumbi, Erastus Mutegi (Mauru),Virginia Njagi (late), Lena Mati, Adiel Irigi (late), Margaret Karimi, and EllyJoy Gitari.

She was beloved auntie and friend to very many and will sorely be missed.

A mighty woman in a small package, it is truly our loss but His gain.

The family and friends of Rose will meet at St Andrews Church Nairobi on the evenings of Thursday 24th and Friday 25th October 2024 from 5.00pm, as arrangements are being made toward her rest on Wednesday 30th October 2024 at her home in Kibugua, Tharaka Nithi, preceded by a service in Nairobi on the afternoon of 29th October 2024.

May the almighty Lord Rest her soul in Eternal Peace
