HON. ZEBEDEO JOHN OPORE

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Hon. Zebedeo John Opore, Former Member of Parliament for Bonchari Constituency, Kisii County. Loving husband of the late Angelina Wanjiru Opore.

Hon. Zebedeo Opore was the son of the late Boniface Mamwacha Kibari and the late Maria Nyabairo Mamwacha of Bomachabe Village, Bogitaa Sub-Location, Riana Location, Kisii South in Kisii County.

He was a devoted father of Francis Opore (USA),Vincent Nyamweya Opore (USA), Charles Ongeri Opore (USA), Stella Opore (Lawyer), Emily Opore (USA) and Robin Opore.

He was a cherished brother of the late Stephen Chibeka Mamwacha, the late Esther Kwamboka Ngisa, the late Margaret Chibeka Mamwacha, Andrew Barongo, the late Peter Otimi, the late John Oyugi, the late Joseph Ombui, Esther Barongo, Suguta Oyugi, Alice Ombui, and others.

Brother-in-law of the late James Ngisa Onchagwa, the late Joseph Nyambane, Samuel Nyamwange, Mary Nyambane, Isabela Nyamwange, Grace Nyambane, Anna Nyabuto, Eunice Biyaki, Eng. John Onsaki, Andrew Nyakundi Mocha, Rashid Abuya, Handerson Koina, Shamim Gadafi, Marisera Morumbe, Thabitha Moindi, Marian Onsombi, the late Alexina Orina, Rosalia Mogoi Onsongo, Thomas Ombati, Joseph Morumbe Ombati, Richard Ombati, David Onsombi Ombati, the late Ezekiel Ombati, Lucy Nyakundi, Wilfrida Ombati, Elmelda Kerubo Ombati, Felistas Gesare, Jenipha Kemunto, and others.

Loving grandfather of Angela Opore, Kayla Opore, Aiden Opore, Andrew Opore & Preston Opore, Gabrielle Kihongozi, Terrence Solomon Opore and Ethan Muturi, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Mash Park Hotel (Joseph Kangethe Road, Riara, Nairobi).

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, 6th November 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Ngong Road, Nairobi, starting at 10:00 a.m.

A final Harambee to assist in offsetting hospital bills, funeral, burial, and related expenses will take place at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on Thursday, 31st October 2024, starting at 4:00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 7th November 2024 at 6:30 a.m. for an Overnight vigil at his rural home in Kisii South Sub-County, Kisii County.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, 8th November 2024, at Nyamiobo Primary School, Riana Location.
