WILLIS ONYANGO AYIEKO

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the tragic death of Mr. Willis Onyango Ayieko, HR Director Wells Fargo, which occurred on the 18th of October 2024.

He was the beloved son of the late Japuonj Fanuel Aggrey Onyango (Bob) and Mama Dorsila Aloo Onyango of Ojuando ‘B’ Sub Location, C. Alego, Siaya.

He was the beloved husband of Esther Awuor Wagumba of Kenya Airways. Doting father of Nathan Ayieko & Lauren Ayieko.

He was the brother of Damaris Okeyo, Janet Ng’ong’a, Cllr. Aggrey Onyango, the former Chairman Siaya County Council, Festus Otieno, Arthur Otin, Rachel Onyiro, Aineah Odhiambo, the late Caleb Owino, Mwanda Kogwang’, the late Apollo Okoth.

He was a son in law of the late Mzee Barrack Ajong’o Obwanda and Mama Mary Obwanda.

He was the uncle of Seline Anyango, Musa, Edwin Ng’ong’a, Evans, Capt. Dan Moi, Dorsila, Ayi Onyango, Rev. Joan, Ben Owuor, Phestus, Biko, Dolly, Bertha Onyiro, Morine, Jackie Otieno, Dan, Tinga, Elsie, Twinnie, Nicole, Detty, Crystal, Andrew, Emmanuela, Zion, Mary, Shalom, Tracy, Remmy, Emmanuel, among others.

He was cousin of Walter Ochieng’, Odhiambo Adis, Betty Ogolla, the Okoths, the Omundas, the Ayiekos, Jo Ko’gwang.

He was the brother-in-law of Mary Onyango, Roselyn Otieno, Celestine Otin, George Onyiro, the late Bertha Odhiambo, Millicent, Roselyn, Mary Ragalo, Joy Mwanda & Sophie Ochieng’, Protus & Judy Seda, Dan & Phoebe Ajong’o, the late Joan,Tina Waga, Sarah & Fred Omito, Dorcas, Dennis & Edith Owuor, Emma, Irene & Patrick Okeyo, George & Phoebe Bhutto, Martin & Betty Kibisu, the Ajong’o family, the Ogolla family, the Nyatodo family, and the Oyugi family.

Daily prayer meetings are held at Phenom Estate Social hall starting from 6:00pm.

There will be a fundraising meeting on Tuesday, 5th November 2024 at the Phenom Estate Social hall, beginning at 6:00pm.

The funeral service will be at the All Saints Cathedral on the 7th of November 2024 at 2.00pm.

The burial will on the 9th of November 2024 at his home in Ong’iende Village, Alego, Siaya County.
