ERIC MAINA GITHINJI,

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Eric Maina Githinji, beloved son of David Githinji and Nyambura Githinji.

Eric was a dearly loved brother of Dennis Njoroge Githinji and Charles Mathenge Githinji. 

On Wednesday, October 23, Eric was involved in a tragic road accident on the Southern Bypass on his motorbike while heading to work. 

Despite being rushed to Karen Hospital and undergoing emergency surgery in the ICU, he succumbed to his injuries during the operation.

Family and friends are gathering at the family’s residence in Center, Dagoretti behind Dagoretti police station (King’ong’o) and also at Raffles Restaurant opposite Hazina Trade Center along Mokhtar Dadah street, everyday from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM .

Eric was working at Roam Electric Limited as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Chassis Systems, Product Development Systems.

The burial will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Kirimiri Village, Makuyu, Muranga County.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma, Thika, at 8:00 AM.
