It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mama Bathsheba Kwamboka Otieno, which occurred on 9th November 2024 in the USA.

She was the first born of the family of the late Reuben Mainya Oeri and Pacifica Nyaruri Mariga of Kiamokama Village – Nyaribari Masaba.

Sister of the late Aska, Rosa, Ebisiba, Jerusha, QS Samuel Oeri, Principal David Omenge, the late Hon. Kennedy Mainya, Robert Nyakenanda, Jane and Josephine, Joseph Ondari.

Loving wife of Caleb Otieno Ombonye (Zakayo) of Mosora Village.

Mother of Dr.Victor Ombeka (Nigeria), Jared Oteyo (Director – Kisii Municipality), Dr. Enock Ondari (KTRH),Vanice Moraa (KCG), Mary Bogomba, Irene Kemunto, Lynette Bonareri (USA), Alfayo Manyange (Rigena Secondary) and James Omwoyo (Nyamache Level 4 Hospital) and the late Zakayo. Mother-in-law of Brenda Kimosop, Risper Sereti, Judy Omare, Ruth Orang’o,Vennah Nyandego, Josphat Machini, Eric Mweresa & Josphat Moenga.

Sister-in-law of Pr Esau, Mariam, Moenga, Mogunde, Obare (all deceased) Pr. Orenge, Achoka, Omweri, Pr Morang’a, Nyabuto, Sophia, Eucabeth, Peris, Mellen, Judy, Rebecca, Agnes, Josephine, Principal Florence, Rose, & Hellen.

Family, relatives, and friends are meeting daily at her home in Mosora for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The fundraising will be held concurrently at Nairobi Central SDA, Dans Hotel – Kisii & her Kisii home on the 21 st of November 2024.

The cortege leaves the Lee Funeral home on Sunday, 24th November 2024, for her Kisii home for an overnight vigil.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, 25th November 2024, at Mosora SDA grounds – Bassi Masige Ward, Bobasi Constituency, Kisii County.
