ELIAS KARUGO MBUGU (AWA)

It’s with deep sorrow, that we announce the passing of Elias Karugo Mbugu (of Research PLUS Africa), who has gone to rest with the Angels.

Loving son of the late Josephat Mbugu & Mary Gakuhi. 

Caring and loving husband of Susan Wambui and a darling father of Augustine Mbugu, Cyrus Ngure and Irene Gakuhi.

Brother of the late Wifred Githaiga, Joyce Wairimu & Ephantus Muchemi, Cecilia Muthoni & Martin Nguru (of Eurobag Limited Thika), Monicah Mukami & Benard

Wahome, Timothy Kingori & Beatrice Wairimu, Esther Wambui Kinuthia and Ann Wangui & Peter Murage.

Son in Law of Cyrus Ngure and Jane Mumbi.

Brother-in-law of Sabella & Dan, Symon & Felister, Mary, Triza & George, late John, Monicah & Joel.

He was a darling uncle, mentor and a friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Kimbo, Gikumbo Nyeri and Blues Springs Hotel, Thika Road (Monday and Wednesday only) from 5.00pm for prayers and burial preparation.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on Friday 17th January 2025 at 7.30am for a funeral service at Holy Family Gathinga Catholic Church from 11.00am.

Burial will follow thereafter in Gikumbo village, Gathaithi Sub-location, Tetu Sub County, Nyeri District.
