JOSEPHINE NENKAI KIROKEN

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our Matriarch Josephine Nenkai Kiroken.

She went to be with the Lord on 8th January 2025 peacefully at her home at the age of 81 years.

Daughter of the late Benson and the late Peris Kamukuru, and sister of the late Reuben Siameto, Joyce Silanke, Geoffrey Lenayia, the late Eliud Saitoti, Anne Rosha, Mary Tompoi, the late Hezron Sane, late Sylvia Njenga and late Kenneth Kindale.

She was beloved wife of the late Joseph Kiroken ole Mpoke and mother of Theophilus Soipei, Philomena Nepeita, Capt Anthony Meitiaki,Vicky Yiamat, Rev. Nancy Meliyio, Edwin Tarayia, Andrew Meshuki and Faith Nemayian.

Mother-in-law of Matilda, Lucy Rimanto, Bishop Charles Meliyio, Yvonne Kendi, Doreen Aluoch and Joshua Kombe.

Grandmother of Roman, Lynda, Kevin, Ivy, Leseni, Olomunyak, Tamara, Perez, Zilpah, Faith, Abigael, Shirlyn, Luscious, Serita, Marlon and Olomayiana and Great grandmother of Moitalel, Afework, Skye & Dawn.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday 17th January, 2025 starting at 9.00 am.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral home at 7:30 am for her farm in Inkinye sub-location, Dalalekutuk ward in Kajiado County where she shall be laid to rest.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kajiado, at Capt Kiroken’s Residence and Bishop Meliyio’s Residence from 4.00 pm.
