JUDY WANJERI THONGORI

9th JUNE 1963 to 14th JANUARY 2025

It is with deep sorrow and the humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on to glory of Judy Wanjeri Thongori, which occurred on 14th January 2025, following a short and sudden illness.

Judy was the loving wife of John Gikandi Thongori and doting mother of Eric Thongori Gikandi and Tracy Wairimu Gikandi.

She was the cherished daughter of Grace Wangari Kogi and loving sister of John P. Kogi and Caroline Nyambura Kogi.

Judy was the beloved daughter-in-love of the late Joseph and Margaret Thongori.

She was the sister-in-love of Mary Kogi, Gideon and Jane Macharia, Patrick and Maryann Thongori, the late Thomas Thongori and the late Hellen Thongori. Judy was a loving niece, cousin, aunty and friend to many.

Family, friends and colleagues will be meeting for prayers on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st January 2025 at 5.30pm, at the All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi.

Judy’s memorial service shall be held on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 10.00am, at the Nairobi Chapel, Ngong Road, followed by a private interment thereafter.
