LYDIA WANJIKU GACHANJA (MWARI WA- GACHERU)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Lydia Wanjiku Gachanja (Mwari wa Gacheru) which occurred on 24th May 2020 in Nairobi after a long illness bravely borne.

She was a daughter of the late Gacheru Gachau and Magdalene Wanjiru, sister of Boniface Mbaria (late), Wanjohi Gacheru (late), Ndiritu Gacheru (late) and Miriam Wamucii (late). Loving wife of the late Mzee Dominic Gachanja wa-Ndimbe. Mother of Francis & Susan Mathenge, Peter & Grace Kiama Gachanja, Charles & Mary Kimathi, David & Alice Wanjohi, Railton & Margaret Nyambura Muthungu, Joseph & Serina Nguru, Boniface & Nelly Mbaria. Aunt, GrandMother & greatgrand Mother to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, 29th day of May 2020 at 7.30am. Requiem mass and burial to be held on the same day at her Muruguru Home in Nyeri County at 12pm.
