Beloved husband of Lucy Wangui Gatuiria & Esther Wairimu Githiga. Father of Martha & Prof. Gachiri of Allen-Texas USA, Samuel Ngetha (United Agro-Chemicals) & Elder Esther Ngetha (of Rev. Muhoro School), the late Paul Wanjau & Nancy Wanjau (Kihate Pry Sch.), Patrick Ngunjiri (MOH) & Caroline Ngunjiri (judiciary), James Wachira (KFS) & Fatuma Wachira. Brother of the late Ngunjiri, the late Wairimu, the late Samuel Waithaka, the late Wangui, the late Mary, Murigu & Kinyua Brother-in-law of Wachira, Wahome, Gakingo, Rtd. Elder Mwalimu Njulya (All deceased) & Wanjiku. Grandfather of Esther, Nganga, Suzzanne, Elizabeth (all Joseph Gatuiria Wanjau USA), Joseph Gatuiria (Nrb), Wambugu, Sophie, Wamuyu, Shiru, Felix, Taffie, Jeanne, Gatuiria & Rita. Great grandfather to many.

Funeral arrangements are going on daily at his home Mutwewathi village, Nyeri County from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Tumutumu Hospital on Friday 5th June 2020 at 9.00am followed by service & burial at his home Mutwewathi Village, Mukuruweini sub county, Nyeri from 10.00am.
