It’s with humble acceptance and submission to God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Edward Githua Rimi (Mzee Kangi, of Kangi Scrap Metal and Kangi Bar & Restaurant) on 29/5/2020 at Premier Hospital Mombasa.

Son of the late Herman Rimi Githua and the late Esther Nyamurwa. Beloved husband of Mrs. Catherine Nyokabi. Beloved father of Herman Rimi, Esther Nyamurwa, Thomas Kimani and Annliz Wangari. Grandfather of Melissa Wambui, Brother of Margaret Wanjiku Mburu, the late Mary Wacheke, Jecinta Wanjiru Kangethe, Patriciah Wairimu Muigai, David Chege Rimi Na Susan Njoki, Serah Wangari, Mercy Wambui Kabiru, the late Joseph Njoroge. Step brother of Stephen Githua of Munyu Thika and Fracis Githua of Laikipia. Son-in-law of the late Antony Kimani and Isabella Wangari. Brother-in- law, father-in-law and uncle of many.

The body will be moved from Jocham Hospital Mortuary on 3/6/2020 to Uplands Funeral Home. The Cortege leaves Uplands Funeral Home at 9.00am, 4/6/2020 for burial at his upcountry home Githirioni Raini-Njeke Sub Location.
