George Barasa Wanyonyi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of George Barasa Wanyonyi (former business man Kanduyi market) on 13/2/2020 after a long illness.

Son of the late John Wanyonyi and late Racheal Nabangala of Kibabii. Son-in-law of the late Jesse Wopicho and Selina Wopicho. Loving husband of Dorcas N. Barasa. Doting father of Jacinta (Chematich Sec), Mercy (Nyabururu Girls), Faith (Mwijabu Sec.), Leah (Jimbagede Sec), Ruth (Eating room, Kanduyi) and Samuel (ICEA LION). Brother of the late Grace, Mary, the late Roselyne, Florence, Margaret, Queen Elizabeth, the late Eunice, Anne, Annedy, Alice, Moses, the late Albert and Maurice.

Father-in-law of Michael (Goleta Boys), Erick (Telkom), Michael (DSV Mombasa), Irene (Eagle eye). Grandfather of Shalom, Jeremy, Changa, Ebenezer, Hope, Joy, Abigael and Amelia. Uncle of Jane, Peter, Pamela, Kabwoya, Timothy, Esther, Micheal, Dennis, Mercy, Leah, Rose, Bramwel, Damaris. Cousin of Dr. Khisa, Christopher C, Khaemba, Khocha, Kimingichi among others. Brother-in-law of late Staus Simiyu, Karamoja, the late Welamond, the late Barasa, Nyongesa, late Oyangi, Asena, Mutonyi, Otero, Carol, Caro, Fatuma, Isabella, Joseph, Ann and Jane.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kibabii (Bungoma) opposite Cardinal Otunga Girls.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Mortuary, Bungoma on Wednesday 19th February 2020. He will be laid to rest on Friday 21st February 2020 at his home in Kibabii.
