It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of Edwin Gatobu Gikunda proprietor of Konna’s Café Meru which occurred on Friday 10th July 2020.

Beloved husband to Jane Njeri. Loving father to Bravin Murithi, Britiney Nkatha and Briton David Ngacha. Son of the late Geoffrey Gikunda and Joyce Kithiira Gikunda. Brother to Alfred Muriungi, Wilfred Gituma, Winfred Kinya and Jediel Mbogori. Son-in-law to the late David Ngacha Ndeiya and Margret Wanjiru Ngacha. Brother-in-law to June Mwendwa, Charles Koome, Ruth Mbogori, Mary Wanja, Caroline Nyambura, Lucy Wanjogu, Susan Wangari, Mark Maingi and Samuel Kariuki. Uncle to Brayden, Mark, Shanice, Caroline, Ian, Munene, Jayden, Gedion, David, Hope, Lione, Laviniah, Kingsly and Kyla.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residential home for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kiirua Funeral home, Meru County on Wednesday, 15th July 2020 for funeral service and burial at his home in Kigurainoru Village, Miriga Mieru West sub-Location, Municipality Ward, Ntima Location, Meru County.
