It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Rose Welimo Wafula of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation which occurred on 20th July 2020 after a short illness.

Beloved wife of Jestirnore Wafula Wanyama of Maliki Bungoma, Jestros Engineering Systems Ltd. Mother of Elkana, Mercy, Arnold, Linda, Cindy, Mike and Angel Wafula. Daughter of the late Alfred Werimo and Catherine Werimo of Ndalu Scheme Kitale. Daughter in law of Mackton Wanyama Nabalokha and Selina Nanjala of MisangaVillage. Sister of Joseph Okubasu, Peter Simalla, Sabina Aruula, Marina Mulama, Mark Werimo, Charles Bwabi, Isabela Osuka, Anne Werimo and Albert Werimo. Sister in law of Corporal Jafrison Masai Warlyame-tari Police Station, Austin Nyongesa, Eliud Wamukekhe, Amos Wafula, Laban Wanyama, Geofrey Wanyama, Dennis Masai, the late Ernest Arula, Jason Mulama, Julius Osuka and Thomas Oduor, Florence Masibo, Christine Wabomba, Felista Kulinyi, Emily Mutuli, Metrine Kibeti, Loice Nangila, Miriam Okubasu, Rhodah Simalla, Scholastics Sirma, Rebecca Bwabi, and Metrine Werimo. Cousin Penina Masai of Nzoia Lufwindiri, Agnes Masai Moh Mechimeru Hospital, Susy Nyongesa Misanga and Imelda Nafula,Aunty to Jeremy, Collins, Mike, Ian, Clive, Allan, Pius, Gregory, Amos, Victor, Sam, Jacinta, Irene, Ketty, Maria, Faith, Barbra, Daisy, Kaki, Judy, Terry, Lenny, Clare, Lucy, Velma, Lydia, Stella and Irene Nasimiyu Juma.

Friends and family are meeting daily for funeral arrangement at her home Obama Estate.

Burial will take place on Thursday 30th July 2020, at her home in Maliki Village-Bungoma County.
