PHILIS KARIMI JEDIEL

It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Philis Karimi Jediel after a very short illness.

Daughter of the late Kiragau Mbataru and the late Gakii. Wife of the late Elder Jediel Chabari. Dear sister to the late Festus Giitu, the late Margaret James, the late Nkirote Tomas, Elder Julius Mbataru and the late Wilfred Gitunga. Mother to Elder Geoffrey Mutuiri & Rebecca, Elder Eng. John Murithi & Jude, Bernard Gitonga & Elder Jane Gitonga, Edith Nkirote & Makati, Everline Gakii Chabari, Betty Mugure & Jeremiah, Festus Giitu & Lucy, Nicholas Mutuma & Agnes, the late Irvine Karani & Paula, Gilbert Kirimi & Mercy and Foster Mum to Elder Gregory Mbabu. Sister-in-law to the late Rev. Leonard Mburugu and Gladys, the late Judith Magambo, the late Kithiru Marete, the late Kithiru Mburugu and many more. She had many in-laws. Philis was a grandmother and great grandmother to many.

The Cortege leaves St. Theresa Mission Hospital, Kiirua on 4th August 2020 at 7.00 am. Funeral service will follow at Ruthumbi Farm, Upper Kithangari Location, South Imenti, Meru County starting at I 0.00a.m. MOH protocols and guidelines will be strictly followed.
