It is with a heavy heart and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of Mrs. Alice Wanza Mbithi which occurred at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi on Tuesday 11/08/2020.

Daughter of the late John and Ruth Kioko Mutyota. Daughter In- law of the late Phillip and Grace Mbithi Nthakyo. Devoted, loving and beloved wife of Andrew M. Mbithi. Adored and caring mother of Peter and Koki Nthakyo, Joseph and Martha Kioko, Joshua Mule, Julius and Gloria Muendo. Special and cherished grandmother of Joy, Phil, Nuelle, Manga, Andrian and Nikita. Sister of Mbithi and Elizabeth, Waia and Marion, Charles and Beth Ithau (USA), Kivindyo and Felistus, Mumo and Lucy. Sister in-law of the late Judah and Georginah Mbithi, Sammy and Annah Mutuku, Charles and Agnes Munyao,’ late Canon Julius and Margaret Kakundi, Justus and Dr. Agnes Mwatu, Francis and Josephine Wambua, the late Daniel and Flora Nzau,Hickson and Sherinah Kioko,Richard and Justinah Mbatha. She was loving in-law of the late Jonah and Esther Musau, Edith Manga, Ben and Jennifer Nzioka among others. She was a cheerful and loving aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many.

There will be a brief funeral service at Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday, 19/8/2020 at 12.00 noon. The cortege leaves the funeral home on Thursday 20/8/2020 at 8.00am. Burial will be at her home Muunyini, Ngiluni Location, Kiteta Division, Mbooni East Sub-County, Makueni County starting from 11.00am.
