Mama Catherine Boisabi Mogaka

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Catherine Boisabi Mogaka of Bomwagamo North Mugirango Nyamira, which occurred on the 15th of February 2020 at Coptic Hospital Nairobi, after a long battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Mzee Ochenge and the late Mama Kemunto of Nyaribari, Birongo. Daughter-law of the late Mzee Ombasa and the late Mama Nyabate. Wife of John Mogaka. Loving mother of Josephine Nyasimi (USA), Lillian (KARLO), the late Job, Evelyn Ng’ang’a and Dennis. Mother-law of Ken Nyasimi U.S.A and Darius Ng’ang’a (Nrb County Gvt). Grandmother of Jackline, Jared, Nyambura, Jessica, Joy and Isaac. Great grandmother of Israel. Sister in-law of Moraa, Hon. Kiangoi, Martha, Hellen among others. Sister of Sika, Agnes Mong’ina, Ogembo, Seme (all late), Kenyansa, Maronga, Meshack and Nathan. Cousin of Rhoda, Nyong’a and Pastor Sika.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at Egesieri in Nyamira, Bomwagamo, Mwihoko and New life S.D.A Church 5th Ngong Avenue, from 5p.m.

Burial will take place on the 6th of March 2020 at her Nyageita home in Nyamira County.

Main Fundraising will be held on 3rd of March,2020 at the old Sanctuary; Central S.D.A church, from 5 p.m..
