With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Christine Minyasi Magenya on 11th August 2020, formerly of State Corporations Advisory Committee.

Daughter of Peter and the late Dorothy Akombo of Gimomoi Village, Vihiga. Loving mother of Maureen G. Nyarige, Louise K. Bosire, Thomas Avugwi, Lucille Kaleha and Dorothy Masitsa and grandmother of Leon, Neville, Nathan and Debby. Mother in-law of Cyprian Nyamweno and Bernard Bosire. Sister of the late Clarence, Maxwell, Kennedy, Emma, Leah, Janet, Simon and Harrison. Aunty and Cousin of many. Sister in law to Redempta Were, Lilian Vuyanzi, Nancy Ombasi and Ruth Akombo.

The cortege will leave Avenue Hospital Mortuary today Monday 17th of August, 2020 to Kitale for burial tomorrow Tuesday 18th August at 10.30 am at the family home in Riverside Estate, Kibomet Location, Trans Nzoia County in compliance with the Government Covid protocols. A Facebook livestream of the funeral will be available.
