It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on of Mary Wanjiru Mwaura on Thursday, 20/08/2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved wife of Johnson Mwaura Kihoro of Gitwe Ndarugu Gatundu South. Daughter of the late Johannah Kiarie Kibui & the late Monica Nyambura Kiarie. Daughter-in-law of the late Paul Kihoro Kariamburi & the late Veronica Wangari Kihoro. Loving mother of Salome & Ng’ang’a Kiguru, the late Peter Kihoro, the late Regina & the late Macharia Muhia, Jane & George Mwangi, Margaret & Joseph Maina, Monicah & Nicholas Kimari, Kiarie & Priscah, Gakumo & Lucy, Magdalene & the late Waweru Thuku, the late Lydia & Karanja Mung’ara, Kimata & Veronicah, Lucy Wanjiku. Sister of the late Kimata Kiarie, the late Lucia Njeri, the late Magdalene Waceke,   Nguru Kiarie, the late Wageche Kiarie, Gathagu Kiarie, Teresia Wanjiku, Hannah Muthoni & the late Wanjema Kiarie. Sister in law of the late Gakumo Kihoro & Mrs. Margaret Gakumo, the late Thuo Kihoro & Mrs. Mary Thuo, Mr. & Mrs. Joshua Gitari Kihoro among others. Auntie, grandmother & great grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 28/08/2020 at 7:00am; followed by a requiem mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gitwe, then burial at her husband’s farm.
