BETTY WAIRIMU KANOGO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Betty Wairimu Kanogo on 25th August 2020.

Loving daughter of the late James Kanogo Gichomo (formerly of Gikoe, Murang’a) and thelate Mary Wanjiku Kanogo. Loving mother of Becky Wanjiku (Germany) and Jane Njoki (USA).Sister of Jane Njoki, Tabitha Muthoni (USA), Lilian Wanjiru (USA), the late Lucy Wangari Mwimwa (Taita-Taveta), Agnes Wangui, Nancy Njeri, Philis Wangui Maina (Subukia), JamesMwangi (Wathagama), and Christine Wambui (USA). She was grandmother of Betty Wairimu (Germany) and Tamara Muthoni. Great-grandmother of Ty Shollei. Cousin of Stephen Njomo Kanogo (Nairobi), Charles Chege Gikungu, Samuel Kaguanyu Chege (Nyakianga), Geoffrey Mwangi Muchiri (Kirimahiga), and Wangui Kanogo (Vioja Mahakamani Judge).

The cortege will leave Nakuru War Memorial Mortuary on Monday 3 1/08/2020 at 8 am.

The requiem mass will be at St. Daniel Comboni Hekima, Nakuru at 10 am thereafter burial to take place at Bahati, Kamiruri at midday.
