Brother of Bingere, the late Mochache, Kebungo, Mang’era, the late Obwaya, Nyabonyi, the late Aburi, Sota, the late Oting’o, Mbesa, the late Nyamusi, the late Gesare and Osebe among others. Grandfather of Gregory, Maureen, Collins, Sharon, Nyambane, Mark, Mathew, Denzel, Megan, Ramsey, Amanda, Onunga James, Emily, Mwangangi, Vincent, Dennis Onunga, Obara, John Ogembo, Omoga, Obiri, Onyancha, Nyaboke, John, Juma, Naomi, Teresa, Raphael, Mose among others.

The body lies at Christa Marianne hospital Mortuary- Kisii. Burial will be held on 3rd September 2020 at his home in Nyamache sub-county, Bassi Masige West location, Nyabisia sub-location.
