It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Fredrick Kirera Amanja on 01/09/2020 at Maua Methodist Hospital.

Son of the late M’Amanja Kamande and the late Cionkunga Amanja. He was brother of the late Francis Muthaura and brother-in-law of Alice Ntibuka.

Husband of Janice Kagendo Kirera and Esther Gakou Kirera. Father of Newton Kirimi, Martin Murithi, the late Moses Miriti, the late John Mwongera, Joan Kagwiria, Mellon Kageni, Patrick Kaaria, Henry Koome, Lucy Gakii, James Mbaya, Phyllis Kaari, Martin Mutwiri, Eric Mbaabu and Ashford Kariuki.

Grandfather of Munene, Karera, Mugambi, Bramuel, Sharon, Murithi, Brian, Shyleen, Max, Mukiri, Muthoni, Mukami, Edwin, Mwenda, Nehemiah, Neema, Mwende, Tiffany, Chris, Derrick, Sophie, Mwongera, Sharon, Joy, Shirleen, Wendy, Mutinga and Tiffany. He was great-grandfather of Dennis.

Cousin of the late Silas Lintangu, the late Samson Kiambati (Twoo) and Stephen Kibaya Nubian. He was uncle of Janet, Muriuki, Mugambi, the late Karani, the late Ndereba, Cathy, Gatwirl and Kimathi.

Father-in-law of Doris, Beatrice, Murithi (Shemej ), Venter, the late Kimathi, Phineas, Hellen, Regina, Faith, Nicholas Mworia, Mukami , Kanana and Joy.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Kaandu and Mukuri.

The cortege leaves Maua Methodist Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 09/09/2020 at 10.00am for funeral service at St. Joseph Methodist Church, Maua. He will then be laid to rest at his home in Kaandu Village, Maua, Meru County.
