It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Mzee Ngugl Gitonga on 2nd September, 2020 at Nairobi Hospital after a long Illness bravely borne

He was husband to Eunice Wangare, Margaret Wanjiru and Mary Waithera.

He was father to the late Gitonga, the late Waithaka, Joyce Muchiri, Wangechi Macharia, Josphine Mumbi, Samuel Wagoro, Grace Wangare, Jackline Ngina, Milka Mumbi, Paul Gitonga, Lucy Wangare. Grace Wamaitha, Mercy Mumbi and Esther Wambui. He was also an Uncle, a grandfather and a great-grandfather to many.

Father-In-law of Stephen Muchiri, Henry Macharia, Edward Wang’ombe, Williamson Chumba, Mwangi Kuria, late Jane Wamaitha, Monica Nyambura and Betty Gacerl.

Brother of the late Mahindi Gitonga, the late Mumbi, the late Kabera, the late Githinji and the late Chege.

Family and friends are meeting on Monday 7th September, 2020 from 5:30 pm at his Pioneer Residence Eldoret.

Memorial service is scheduled today at St. Paul’s University Chapel starting at 2.00pm and thereafter a meeting at the same venue.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 8th September 2020 and thereafter for a church service and burial at Kamukunji Cemetry, Eldoret starting 9:00 a.m.
