ROSEMARY NJERI NGUGI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rosemary Njeri Ngugi formerly of Kenya Polytechnic which occurred on 3rd September 2020 after a long battle with cancer bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Benson Ngugi Mwaniki & the late Florence Wairimu Kagia of Gaitumbi Village, Kikuyu Constituency, Kiambu County. Sister of the late James Mwaniki Ngugi, Elizabeth Wambui Ndung’u, Grace Njeri Kihara, Gadweil Kiria Wairimu (Cucu vita Bay), Eunice Wangari Wairimu, Peter Kagia Wairimu & Ernest Muigu Wairimu. Mother of Benson Ngugi Njeri (Igeria & Ngugi Advocates), James Mwanikl Njeri (Cornel Solutions Ltd) and Jackline Wairimu Njeri (University of Nairobi). Doting Mother-in-love of Evah Nyambura Ngugi (Prudential) and Fiona Wangui Mwaniki (KEMSA). Grandmother of Renee Njeri Ngugi, Austin Mwaniki Ngugi, Zoe Wairimu Ngugi amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting to celebrate her life every evening from 4pm to 6pm at their family home in Gaitumbi and in Benson’s home in Lavington.

A memorial service will be held at the Covenant Worship Church in Ruai on Tuesday, 8th September at 12 noon.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home on Thursday, 10th September, 2020 at 8am for a requiem service at PCEA Gaitumbi Church, Rungiri Parish starting at 10:30am. There.after she will be laid to rest at Gaitumbi Village.
