It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Lucy Waceke Maina on Friday 4th September, 2020 at Avenue Hospital. She was a director of Mountain View School.

Daughter of the late Edward Maina Gachugu and the late Mrs Ann Maina. Loving sister to Regina Wanjiru Maina — Principal M.V.S Mountain View School, Mr. and Mrs. John Kamau, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Mwaura And Mr. and Mrs. David Mukii all of Mountain View School. Aunt to Stephanie and Peter (South Africa), Edward Kamau, Samuel Kamau, Ann and Dan, Warren Mukii,Ann Mukii, Edward Mukii, Blanche Mwaura, Edward Mwaura, Sandra Mwaura and Sofia Mwaura. Grandmother to Savanna and Rein.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home Mountain View School at 4.00pm on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th with strict accordance to covid19 Protocol.

The body will leave KU Mortuary (Thika super highway) on Thursday 10th September 2020; there will be a funeral Mass at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, Thika Rd from 10.00am and thereafter burial at her home in Mountain View School.
