MAJOR (RTD) BEDAN GATERE NDEGWA, HSC, OGW

It Is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Major (Rtd) Bedan Gatere Ndegwa, HSC, OGW. Formerly of the Kenya Air Force. He fought Pancreatic Cancer valiantly like a soldier.

Son of the Late Elijah Ndegwa and Late Sophiah Muthoni, step son to Grace Njeri , a brother and cousin to many.

Loving husband of Mrs. Hortensiah Wanjiku Gatere and father to Dr. Sophiah Muthoni, Colonel Elijah Ndegwa, Robert Kimumu, RN. BSN. and the Late Peter Kiheo, who was a genuine friend to many. Beloved father-in- law to Fridah Munyankera Ndegwa and Irene Mogeni Gatere. Grandfather to Shaleen Wanjiku, Shawn Gatere, Shamal Mukagakwaya, Gavin Gatere, Gillian Wanjiku and Grayson Mogeni.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at the family residence at Avenue Park Phase 2 estate for prayers from 5pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral home on Thursday 24th September at 9.00am followed by a funeral service and interment at his Bogona Farm, Islnya In Kajiado.
