The family of the late Lawrence Gitu wishes to announce his transition to glory, on Friday 25th September 2020.
He was son of the late James Gitu and the late Loise Ndindi. He was the husband of Agnes Wangari. Father of Angela & Samuel Kamau, Winnie & Chris Wainaina, Carolyn & Bart Wanyama, the late Noreen Wanjiru, the late Jimmy Gitu, Stella & Wambaa Mungai, Bernadette & Joseph Wandu, Audrey & Victor Kimani, Gerald & Pelagie Gichanga and Eva & Richard Mbogo. Brother of Benjamin Gituto Gitu, the late Florence Wambui Njuku, Margaret Wangui Njung’e, Rahab Muthonl Njenga, Cecilia Nyambura Njuguna, the late Charles Kamau Gitu and Mercy Wairimu Ng’ang’a. Doting grandfather of Patricia Wangari & Sam Wamae, Sylvia & James Mbugua, Ian & Mark Kamau; Anthony, Andrew,A lex & Alvin Wainaina; Anthony, Diana & William Wanyama; Ivy, Ida & Eva Wambaa; Kevin & Martin Wandu; Nicole & Victoria Kimani; Grant & Dawn Gichanga and Angela Mbogo. He was a great grandfather of Alma, Davina, Davis and Tafari. L
He will be laid to rest on Friday 2nd October at Langata Cemetery. Viewing of the body will start at 8.00am. The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home at 9.00am. The funeral service will be held by the graveside.
