REV. FRIDAH OBUCHELA ASWANI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rev. Fridah Obuchela Aswani, wife to the late Rev Shelton Aswani, she hails from Ekambuli village, Khwisero Sub County, Kakamega County.

She was the daughter of the late Johannah Asila and the late Juliana captain Liambaya of Ebusiralo. She was the mother of Harriet, Joyce, the late Dr Bilha Hagembe, Jessica, Dr John Asila, Florence, Billy (National KEPSHA treasurer), Livingstone, Julia. She was the daughter in law to the late Joel, late Eshituku Nyasiri and late Agneta Libuku. She was the sister in law to the late Jimmy, late Rodgers, Jotham, Washingtone, late Dorice and Joan. She was the sister to the late Rev Jairus Asila, Michael, the late Onesmus, the late Zephania, Shem, the late Susan, late Susan Okopo and the late Irene Omuko.

Mother in law of the late Clement, Byrose Lubanga, late Dr Peter Hagembe, Bishop Michael Sande, late Josephine Chemao Aswani, William Wanjala, Alice Ananda (Kaimosi), Jannet (Juba) and Paul Bahati. The loving grandmother of Alice (USA), Daniel Mwisunji (NRB), Deborah (Switzerland), Imisa, Emali, Dinah (USA), Nixon (Kericho), Email, Nyikuli, Orlando (USA), Fridah (USA), Fridah (Ghana), Christine (Daisy), Dr Mildred Hagembe (MTRH), Juliana Hagembe (NRB), John Asila, Pauline (USA), Selina, Harriet, Margaret, Briant, Rita (NRB), FridA Wanjala (NRB), Fridah Sande, Mike (Busla), Fridah Aswani (NRB), Sheldine (NRB), Shelton Mugasia, Shelton E. Aswani, Shelton Aswani, James, Shelton Waswani, Joseph Aswanl, Brinly Aswani, Bekham, Owen Aswani, Yosiah and Doris. Aunt to many including Pearl, Rachael, Tom, Dr Michael Eshitera etc and a friend to many. She had 19 great grandchildren.

She left In her heavenly abode on Monday 21st September 2020 at 11:20 pm. The body was removed from the mortuary on Monday 28th Sept 2020, burial is today 29th Sept 2020.
