It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Hutchinson Wahome Karogo on the 29th September 2020 at Coptic Hospital Nairobi.

Son of the late Pharis Karogo Kibanya and Yunah Wangu Karogo. Step son of Lydiah Wambui and Joyce Wanja. Dear husband of Mary Nyambura Wahome. Loving father of Eunice Wangu, Ted Wachira, Ronald Karogo and Amy Wambui. Brother of Julia Wamuyu and the late Ngari Machocho, Beatrice Wanjiku and the late Karugu Mwai, the late Willord Gikandi and Esther Wambui, the late Julius Gatheru and Jacinta Nyawira, Agnes Ruguru and Paul Baaru, Nancy Wanjugu and the late Linus Thoithi, Rose Thuguri and James Muriuki, Mercy Gathigia, Grace Gathoni, Gladys Wairimu, Susan Kirigo and Erastus Kibanya. Grandfather of Ronni, Jeremy, Joshua, Sammi, Abigail, Anna and Jane. Son-in-law of the – late Peter King’ori and the late Rachael Wambui and the late Mary Wanjiku. Brother-in-law of Esther Kimani, Felista Wanja, the late Samuel Nderitu, Rose Maina, the late Ruth – Wachira, the late Charles Ndungu, Shelmith Maingi, Cecilia Kingori, the late Mary Nyambura, Mary Wanjohi, Rebecca Wachira and Lydia Kingori. Uncle and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Muthaiga home, Nyahururu and Giakabei Karatina for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Jamil Hospital Mortuary Karatina on Friday 9th October 2020 at 8:00am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at Glakaba Sub-Location, Gathehu Location, Mathira East Sub-County, Nyeri County.
