It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Alice Mugure Maina (Mrs Mburu, Principal St. Thomas Aquinas Ithangarari, Gatanga) that occurred during an emergency treatment at Metropolitan Hospital, Buruburu on Sunday 23rd February 2020.

Daughter of Priscilla Wanjiru Mbogo and the late Onesmus Maina Kamari (Murang’a). Loving wife of James Mburu Kamau (Limuru) and a cherished mother of their 3 sons, Kennedy Irungu Mburu (Gatanga), Augustine Kamau Mburu (Kenyatta University) and Paul Mwangi Mburu (MKU Thika). Sister of the late Jennifer Wairimu. Gladys Wanjugu (Kiria-ini), Stephen Mbogo (Mboma • Enterprises). Sister-in-law of Lilian Mbogo, Ann, Alice, Catherine, Joyce, Milkah, Pauline and Rajab.An aunt and a loving grandma of many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers & burial preparations at her marital home in Limuru, Maanguo at 6pm, Bahati Nairobi and Gatanga in Murang’a.

The cortege leaves. K.U Funeral Home — Thika Road on Thursday 5th March 2020 at 9am & will proceed for her interment at her home (Limuru, Maanguo).
