JAPHET BEMUKOKA MUMBA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we celebrate the promotion to glory of Japhet Bemukoka Mumba which occurred at the Mombasa Hospital on Friday 16th October 2020.

He is the beloved son to Canon Albert Chaurembo Mumba and Mama Patience Mumba. Adored brother to Caesar and Mariamu Mumba, Irene and Dr. Jao and Dr. James and Dr. Sophia Mumba. Husband to Lillian Aloo Otieno. Doting father to Abdul, Kasichana and Dru Mumba. Uncle to Pendo, Amani, Victor, Emmanuel, Ishara, Shujaa, Ian, Deborah and the late Amina. Grandfather to Jasmine. Grandson to the late Mzee Japhet Mumba, Mama Irene Muhache Mumba, the late Mzee James Chitibwi and the late Mama Charlotte Chitibwi. Nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Meetings and funeral arrangements are being held every day at 4pm at the Chaurembo Farm in Mtwapa.

The cortege leaves Pandya Hospital Mortuary on Friday 23rd October at 10am for a brief stop over and viewing at the Chaurembo Farm, Mtwapa and will later be preserved overnight at Milele Funeral Home.

The cortege will then leave Milele Funeral Home on Saturday 24th October at 8am for burial at the Mumba family home, Ng’ombeni, Kilifi County on the same day.

Jeff we loved you, but God loved you most. In God’s arms you rest, in our hearts you remain forever. Rest in peace Jeff.
