It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. AbiLael Jaluha Kimiywe on 1 October, 2023. She hailed from Kegoye,Vihiga county.

Daughter to the late Paul Mbwanga and the late Rebecca Afandi.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred Kimiywe and loving mother to, Grace Kihara, Prof. Judy Kimiywe (KU), the late Edith, the late Godfrey, Freda Kimiywe, Joseph Kimiywe, Bishop Ken Kimiywe (CITAM), the late Andrew, Violet Mohoi (Oaks Academy), Col. Mboya (KDF), Pamela Kimiywe (USA) and Caro Kimiywe. Mother-in-law to Capt (Rtd) Wilfred Kehara, the late Roderick Ngowi, Joy Kimiywei,Enock Mobe. She had 31 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Daughter-in-law to the lace Jacob Kimiywe and the late Elizabeth Ongaji.

Sister to the late Benjamin, Peminah, the late Elijah, the late Esther, Samuel and the late Margaret.

The family is meeting at CITAM -Valley Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5.30pm.

The celebration of life service will be held on Thursday 5th October, 2023 at 10.00am at CITAM Valley Road.

The family travel on Friday 6th to her Koibarak home (Kaimosi) where the will be laid to rest on Saturday 7th October, 2021.
