AGNES KERUBO NYAMBURI

It is with heavy hearts yet acknowledging God’s will to announce the passing on of Agnes Kerubo Nyamburi at Christa Marianne Hospital on 19th November, 2020 after a short illness bravely borne. She was born in 1920 at Kegogi, Nyachogochogo Village, Bosamaro Masaba, Nyamira County.

Wife of the late Dismal Nyamburi. Co-wife of the late Jerusha Bwari. Daughter of the late Onguti Nyagekongo and the late Maria Kwamboka Onguti. Sister of the late Yaro, the late Sarange, Nyaboke, Ogeto and the late Eunice. Mother of Helen Nyabiosi, Zakayo Ombongi, Ruth Momanyi, Rodgers Onguti, Geoffrey Nyambati, Karen Ondari, Kennedy Nyangau and Robert Orina. Step-mother of Rachel Ndungu, George Onkoba, Ruth Gwaro, Michael Nyakundi, Nyatthati Ogeto, Isaiah Okara, Peter Motarema and Esther Moraa. Mother-in-law of the late Nyabiosi, the late Momanyi, Prof, Ondari, Penina, Alice, Veronica, Salesa and Jane. Sister-in-law of the late Moruri, Elius Maengwe, Oigo, Okari, Miyienda, Mogire and Moochi. She was blessed with 43 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Christa Marianne on Thursday 26th November, 2020 to her home at Omogonchoro and will be laid to rest on Friday 27th.
