ALBERT KIPKIRUI LANGAT

We regret to announce the passing on of Albert Kipkirui Langat, who until his demise, was serving as County Director of Education for Samburu County.

He was born on 7th August 1961 at Kebeneti, in Kamasian ward, Kipkelion West Sub-County Kericho county, to the late Mzee Chepkwony A. Kobiro and late Mama Sofia Kobiro, as the last son and the 9th child in the family. Step son to Obot Grace, Obot Rebecca and Raeli Kobiro. Brother to the late Obot Bett and late George Chepkwony, late Sarah Rono, Ruth Sang, Daniel Chepkwony, late Reuben Chepkwony, Richard Koskei, late Paul Chepkwony, Eunice Leitich, Rose Rono, Grace Berenge, Sammy Kogo, late Joanne Koech, Wilson Chepkwony, Philip Chepkwony, Esther Lelei, John Langat, David Chepkwony, Jane Talam, Vivian Koech, Emily Bore, Emmanuel Chepkwony, Joyce Chepngeno, Beatrice Terer, Caroline Chelangat, Noah Cheruiyot and Yvonne Cherono.

He was son in-law to Mr & Mrs Musa Bett of Kebeneti. He was brother in-law to Teresia, Christine, Recho, Elizabeth, the late Emmy, Hellen, Grace, Roselyn, Nancy, Emily, Lona Betty, Daisy, Sharon, Favour, Schola, Anthony, Charles, Nelson, Erick, Kenneth, Festus, Nicholas, Robert, Amos, the late Bett, Leting, Rono, Mercy and Beatrice among others. Albert was blessed with a beautiful wife Rose Langat, who is currently serving as CEC Co-operatives, Bomet County Government .Together they’re blessed with the following children; Faith Chepngeno, Cheryl Chepkemoi, Brian Kiprotich Kirui and Silas Lawrence Kipkoech. They were blessed with one grandchild, Kylan Kipngeno.

The funeral and burial service will take place at Lilloch Kebeneti farm, Kipkelion West Kericho County today Saturday 12th September 2020 as from 10.00am..
