It is with a heavy heart that we announce the promotion to glory of Alex Mukira M’Abuuri, on the 12th January, 2021, after a bravely borne illness.

He was a business man in Meru Town and Director at Capital Sacco.

Son of the late Mzee Gerald M’Mukira and Mama Mariamu Nkatha Gerald.

Loving husband of Mary Muthoni Mukira (Chema Mugima Ltd, Meru).

Beloved father of Eric Gitonga (KQ, Mombasa), Hilary Henry Maingi (Chema Mugima Ltd) and Christine Kanana (Tinewage Grocery, Nairobi).

Father-in-law of Lydia Kathambi Gitonga (SBM Bank, Mombasa).

He is survived by one grandchild, Megan Nkatha. The fourth born in Gerald M’Mukira’s family. Brother of the late Mugambi, Mbaya, Muthuku and Kanja.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee Henry and the late Mama Julia Mwithimbu of Kiirua Location in Meru.

Brother-in-law of Tarsila, Consolata, Rose and Ausilio. The late Mutua and Ntarara Gatua Rose, the late Peter and Lucy, the late Murungi and the late Veronica, Silveria, Zaverio, the late Sammy and Gakii, Mugambi and Muriithi. Uncle to many.

Meetings are being held daily at his home In Ruanguene, Kithoka.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home, on Tuesday 19th January, 2021, at 5.00am for a church service at the family home grounds in Ruanguene, Kithoka, off the Meru – Maua Road, starring at 10.30am.

Interment will follow immediately thereafter. Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints.
