ALEXANDRA NJOKI KARIUKI

23rd February, 1955 – 10th February, 2022

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Alexandra Njoki Kariuki announce her untimely demise on Thursday 10th February, 2022, after a short illness.

Adored daughter of Vengeslaous Njagi Gikombo and Agrippina Mbuko. Beloved wife of Patrick Kariuki Njagi and cherished mother of Peter Njagi & Janet Mtini and Paul Mugendi & Caroline Wawira. Doting grandmother of Nathaniel Njagi, Muigai Gichamba, Sabiti Gichamba, Natalie Njagi, Pauline Mugendi and Precious Mugendi.

A loving sister to Petronilla Wanja, Adelina Gatavi, Silas Njiru and Eusebia Ciumwari. Sister-in-law to the late Patricia Kathambana & Dickson Kathambana, Lucy Wanjuki Nyaga & Peterson Nyaga, and Esther Kasina & Rev. Kasina. Step-sister to Mary Mutito, Felister Muthoni, Jane Njoki, Njiru,Wambui, Anna, Carol, Muriithi, Dorothy, Nyaga, Njeru, Esther Njoki, Weruma, Cyrus and Wawira. She was respected cousin, auntie and a friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th February, 2022 at ACK St. Mark’s Church -Westlands at 5:30pm and daily at her home in Rukira – Embu.

There will be a requeim mass on Wednesday 16th February, 2022 at St. Cecelia Rukira Catholic Church, Embu at 11.00am.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (Nothern Bypass) Funeral Home on Friday 18th February 2022 at 7:30am for a funeral mass at 11.00am at St. Cecelia Catholic Church followed by burial at her home in Rukira.
