It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Alice Demba Arudo, wife of The Late Benson Arudo Opiyo and Co-wife to Dorca Ahoyo and Perez Ombuk Arudo of Nyabera Village, West Uyoma Location,

Daughter of The Late Okaka Nyar Obala and the Late Radier Wuon Okoth of Nyamonye, Yimbo location. Mother of the Late Eliud Ochollar Arudo, the Late James Arudo, Dr. Tobias Arudo, Mr. John Arudo (Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology) and Margaret Achieng of Kajulu Location. Step-mother of Lilian Soti, Elisha, Maurice, Thomas, among others.

Sister of the Late Paskalia Bala, the Late Risper Sijenyi and Ex-Deputy Mayor Edwin Radier of Magare Village. Mother-in-law of Cecilia Ochollar, Lilian Ochollar, Lewnidah Otieno, Judith Otieno. Dr. Rose Opiyo (Nairobi University), the Late Alfred Aduol. .

“Nyawana” of The Late Musa Obilo, Gwassi, The Late Jectone Owili, Mama Lilian Owili and Perez Owili, The Late Edward Orondo and The Late Rebba Nasike, Mzee Fanuel Ong’ombe Sheila Ong’ombe, The late Sylvester Okelo and The Late Yuanita Aduol.

There will be a fundraiser at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, Kenya, on Saturday, 29th February 2020 from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Matangwe Funeral Home, Bondo on Friday, 6th February 2020 at 10am for a service at 1pm at Saint Peter’s ACK Church Nyabera, West Uyoma Location and thereafter to her home.

Burial will take place on Saturday, 7th February 2020 at her home in Nyabera Village, Uyoma Kokwiri, Rarieda District at 10am.
