It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alice J. Kimuge, which occurred on 29th March, 2023 after a short illness.

Wife of Francis Maingi Matiri. Beloved mother of Victor Kimathi Donald Muthuri Matiri, and Joy Kambura Matiri.

Cherished daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah Kimuge, and sister of the late Zipporah, Jacob, Mary, the late Paul, Selvin, Beatrice, the late Frederick and Brian. She was also a dear cousin and aunt to many.

She was a senior teacher at Pangani Girls School and Head of Department in charge of games and co-curricular. She will greatly be missed by the Pangani Girls Fraternity.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday, 8th April 2023 at 8.00am, for burial at her home in Kyeleni Village, Matungulu Sub-county, Machakos County.
