Alison Wanja M’Itonga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alison Wanja M’Itonga of Kamiguru village Kanyakine Meru County.

Daughter of M’Itonga M’Mbwiria and Margaret Riara M’Itonga. Wife of the late Joses M’Itonga illmanene. Mother of late Eunice Kaimuri M’Itonga, Minnie Rima Muuru, late Ephantus Kithinji M’Itonga, Janet Riga Mbithi, Gilbert Mugambi M’Itonga, Benard Gitonga tisitonga,Mary Gakiru Muroki, Elias Gitobu M’Itonga and & Gidiel Kirema M’Itonga. Mother-in-law of Charles Muuru Inoti, Dr Isaiah Munyaka Mbithi, Lena Kithinji Karoki, Emily Kinaitore Mugambi, Francis Muroki Moroko, Beatrice Kendi Gitobu, Margaret Warue Gitonga and Purity Karoki Kirema.

Sister of Elizabeth Nyai Nkaabu, the late Isaiah M’Nkanata, the late Jane Mbuthu M’Mugambi and late David Kai. Daughter-in-law of M’Imanene Minima and Mbuthu M’Imanene. Sister-in-law of the late Benard Kaburia, the late Isabella Gakiru M’Arithi, the late Mbar’ M’Imanene and the late Benson Kiugu. Grandmother of Millicent Kagwiria Sarnolca of Namanga Sec School, Mercy Mwende, Carol rawira., Catherine Mwikall, Tonny Mwirigi, Rebecca Wanja, Carof Waniiru, Kelvin Mwenda and Immanuel Mutethia among others. Blessed with great grandchildren namely Matt Samoka, lan Machira, Betsy Kiuna, Sharon Karimi among others. She has also one great, great grandchild by the name Sylvester Ogechi.

The cortege leaves Chogoria Mission Hospital at 9am on Thursday the 19th March 2020 for funeral service at Linus Waruiru PCEA Church Kanyakine and thereafter burial at her home at Kamigu Kanyakine Meru County.
