AMBROSE KINYUA GATHOGO

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Ambrose Kinyua Gathogo on 7th June, 2023 after a short illness bravely borne.

Son of the late George Rugano Gathogo and the late Mary Wamuhu Gathogo. Son-in-law to the late Mr. & Mrs. Mwariama Karigi.

Husband to Hellen Wangui Gathogo. Father to Christabel Mbuthia, the late Nelly Wamuhu, Daniel Gathogo, Hilda Waruingi, Moses Kinyua and Elijah Nyuguto. Father-in-law to the late John Mbuthia, Ben Waruingi.

Brother to the late Daniel Nyuguto, the late John Munyiri, Gladys Gathoni, the late Gerald Muriuki, Eliud Maina.

Brother-in-law to the late James Kigano, the late Mary Wairimu, Nancy Muthoni, Mary Njugu and the late Ricarda Nyaruai.

Grandfather to Moses Mbuthia, Esther Mbuthia, Talia Waruingi, Hailey Waruingi, Keynan Kinyua, Ethan Waruingi. Great-grandfather to Kwame, Ella and Amali.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at the family home in Buruburu – Nairobi and Kianjogu – Karatina.

Burial date will be communicated later.
