ANASTASIA NJOKI CHEGE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Anastasia Njoki Chege after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Josephat Gathua Kamonye and the late Bertha Mbesa Gathua. Step-daughter of the late Teresia Muthoni Gathua and Teresia Njeri Gathua (Wabera). Wife of Moses Chege Thuku. Mother of Martin & Christine Thuku, Edwin & Sarah Waweru and Dr. Njoki Chege. Grandmother of Ashley, Moses, Bianca, Moses and Jack. Sister of Mary Wambui, Candinda Ngina and George Kamonye. Step-sister of John Kamonye, Pascalina Wambui, Psi Joseph Ngige, Michael Mbugua, Faster Wanjiku, Gabriel Kirika, Rose Gathua, Paul Thuo, Ndungu Gathua, the late Monicah Wambui and the late Wangu Gathua and Charles Gathua

Sister-in-law of the late Joseph Gathiru, Mary Mwangi, Regina Kamau, Magdalene Gakunga, Teresia Wanjiru, Anne Maina, Felisra Thuku, Florence Njau, the late Keziah Thuku, Beatrice Kariuki and Michael and Julia Kamau. A loving and caring auntie  to many. Also a cousin to many.

Friends and family are meeting at her home in Ruai from 5:30 m.

She will be laid to rest on Friday, April 9th, 2021, at her husband’s home in Gatundu North, Mang’u Location, Tirira village.
