ANDREW KARIUKI MWAURA (HESHIMA)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Andrew Kariuki Mwaura fondly known as Heshima following a sudden heart attack.

Dotting husband to Lucy Wambui Kariuki. Wonderful dad to Salome Gaciku & Mike Chege, Harriet Wanjiku & Lewis Guantai, Bernice Nyambura & Robert Kariuki. Loving & gentle grandfather to Jacin Chege, Amara Chege, Alyssa Guantai, Peter Kariuki and Andrew Kariuki.

Son to the late Silas Mwaura and the late Salome Mwaura. Son-in-law to the late Bethuel Kahugu and the late Harriet Kahugu. Brother to Rachel Mbogo, Alice Nyambura and the late Silas Gathunguri, Raymond Kuria, Simon Wandue and Gideon Waweru. Brother-in-law to Margaret Wandue, Teresia Waithera and the late Margaret Kibui.

He was an uncle, cousin and grandfather to many. His inlaws were: The Mbuu’s, The Mwiti’s & The Kariuki’s.

Friends & family are meeting daily at his residence at Banana hill.

There will be a memorial service at ACK Banana on Wednesday, 5/10/2022 at 11.00am.

A farewell service and body viewing will be held at KU Referral Bypass Road on Friday 7/10/2022 at 11.00am and thereafter honour his wish of cremation at 3.00pm at Kariakor Crematorium.
