ANGELA WANJALA KAPOMBE

21st April, 1968 ~ 25th September, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Angela Wanjala Kapombe, who departed this life on 25th September 2024, at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi.

Angela was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born to the late Shabaan Mwashangi Mwatamaa and Mary Mashirima Joseph,Angela lived a life filled with love and devotion.

She was the cherished wife of Dr. Patrick Kenga Kapombe and a proud mother of her three children: Mashirima, Fiona, and Eugene and mother in law of Charles Otieno.

Angela was also a doting grandmother of Kenga, Zion Peter, and Ziva Angela, who brought immense joy to her life.

Angela’s legacy lives on through her siblings, including Zena and Basuna.

She was predeceased by her beloved siblings Margaret, Teddy, Tumaini, Rose, Mwatamaa, Mwamsae and Abdalla.

Step-sibling of Hamisi, Salama and Swaleh whose memories she held dear.

Friends and family are gathering daily at Ibis Hotel in Nyeri and at her home in Kikambala, Kilifi, to celebrate her life and share in their grief.

The cortège will depart from Jocham Hospital in Mombasa on Wednesday, 9th October 2024 for a requiem Mass in the afternoon.

A final funeral service will be held on Thursday, 10th October 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Kikambala.

As we bid farewell to Angela, let us remember her indomitable spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she touched.

She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in our heart
