Sister of Enock Nyangoto and Beda Monyancha. Co-wife of Marcella. Sister-in-law of Priscah, Alice, Rachel, Eunice. Kemuma, the late Eucabeth and Felix Onchari. Beloved mother of Janet Moraa (Kebute Pry), Vincent Oruta (Manager Nokia Siemens), Evans Oruta (MMUST Lecturer), Gladys Kwamboka, Dennis Oruta (KDF), Edna Moraa (MKU) and Cyrus Oruta (Nation Media Group ). Mother in-law of George Tinega, Lorna Kerubo (DCI), Kanini, Linet Miyienda (Kenya Prisons) and Tryphin (Pauls).

Grandmother of Obed (UoN), Jayson, Jesse, Samuel, Faith, Jayson, Flora, Jairus, Victor, Bosibori, Stacey, Nelson, Natalia, Michelle,Audrey, Cayden, Ayana, Heyden, Kimberly and Velma. Korera of Naomi, Rose, Miyienda, Birita, the Late Omwenga, Kitise, Grace, Penina and the late Tinega. Aunt of Joshua (Eng Kisii Cty), Francis (USA,) Fanidia (USA), Oichoe (Serena), Omache (NMG), Richard (Eng Murang’a Cty) , Caleb, Florence, Josphine and Dr Maunba (UoN).

Burial meetings are on-going at her rural home daily at 5pm and Nairobi at Highland Annexe Restaurant from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching &Referral Hospital Mortuary on 27/02/2020 for funeral service and her burial on 28/02/2020 at her home in Bomwancha Sublocation, Bomorenda Ward, Kisii South Sub-County, Kisli County.
