ANNAH WANJIKU KAMORI (WAKAMORI)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs.Annah Wanjiku Kamori who hailed in Nkoroi Village on the 9th of January 2025 following lengthy battle with illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the Late Gabriel Kamori and the Late Maria Wangui Mutonga. She was the wife of the Late Wilson Ndung’u Kang’ara.

Loving mother of Simon Kang’ara (Magereza Secondary School) and Nancy Wanjira, Gathoni Ndung’u (Mentor Counselling Centre), the Late Gabriel Kamori, Lucy Wangui (Kenya Airways), the Late Wilson Wainaina and Gladys Wangari. (E4Impact).

Doting Grandmother of Bryan Wahome, Betty Wangeci, Mark Ndung’u, Kerry Kiambi, Amani Wanjiku, Adeline Nyambura and Leo Gakuru.

She was a sister of the Late Susan Wangare, the Late Veronica Njeri, Stephen Wainaina, Mutonga, the Late Jane Thiga, the late Jacinta Wagio and the Late Ngugi.

She was a beloved in-law, auntie, cousin and dear friend to many.

Friends and Family are gathering daily at her homestead in Nkoroi Village, Enchoro Lane past Ongata Rongai from 4:00pm.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Friday 17th January 2025 at 8:00 am for a Memorial service to celebrate her life and legacy at Nkoroi St. Lwanga Catholic Church from 9:00 am.

The burial will be at her homestead.

You were a light in our lives, and though you are gone, that light will never fade…! We Love you.!!
