Annie Wanjiku Mureithi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved mother Annie Wanjiku Mureithi which occurred on 19th February 2020.

A loving wife of the late Edward Newton Mureithi (Giconi). Mother of Valerie Nyawira, Allen & Nancy Mugambi, and Alex & Wamuyu Mureithi. Daughter of the late Samson Goro Mbugua and Peninah Njeri Goro. Daughter in law of the late Joshua Mugane M’tetu and the late Janet Kuraya Mugane. Sister of the late Loise Wanjiru, Grace Mugure, Samuel Mbugua, Dr. Wangui Goro, The late Wambui Gatigwa & The late Ruth Wanjiku. Sister in Law of the late William Murathi Mugane, late Juliet Wangiri Njeru, Elias Muchiri Mugane, Margaret Muringu Njue, Francis Murathi Mugane, Albert Nyaga Mugane, Patrick Ndege Mugane, Rtd Major Mugane, Lucy K. Njagi, Late Harrisson Nyaga Mugane, late Silvano Murathi Mugane, Jane Kathimadames Ngeri Mugane, and many others. An Aunty to many, nieces and nephews. Grandmother of Sean, Joy, Mayah, Hope and Phil.

Family and Friends will meet on Tuesday 25th February 2020 at PCEA St. Andrews Church at 5:30 pm to 7:30pm for a fund fundraising to offset the medical and funeral expenses. Family and friends are also meeting at Butauburu Phase 2 from Friday 21st February 2020 from 5pm to 7pm up to Monday 24th February 2020; also at her home in Gaturi South, Nembure sub-location,Embo County every day.

There will be a memorial praise and worship service on Sunday 23RD February 2020 at ACK St James Church BuruBuru from 2pm.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Thursday 27th February 2020, at 7AM for the funeral service at ACK Christ Church Nembure at 10AM; thereafter final interment will follow at her home in Gaturi South, Nembure sub-location, Embu County.
