It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Antonina Noreen Onono Swanson that occurred in Kent, United Kingdom, on Sunday 15th August 2021.

Wife of Mr. Gavin Robert Swanson of Aberdeen, Scotland. Mother of Kameron Awino Swanson and Natasha Achieng Swanson. Daughter of the late Prof. Jeckoniah Ndinya-Achola and the late Mrs. Diana Awino Achola.

Sister to the late Dr. James Christian Ndinya Achola, Ms. Evelyn Achola Ndinya and Ms. Joy jenipher Adero Achola Ndinya. Daughter-In-Law to Mr. Roderick Swanson and the late Mrs. Winnie Swanson. Grand-daughter of the late Japuonj Simeon Ndinya, the late Dorsi Onono Ndinya, the late Peter Onyango Oranga and the late Mama Jennifer Odete Oranga.

Sister-In-Law to Mrs. Coleen Willox and Dr. Pamela Njuguna, among others. Cousin of Eng. David Yuko, Prof. (Dr) Christine Jowi, Rev. Boniface Ogosi, Ms. Bertha Czeda, Mrs. Orpah Ogot, Mrs. Dorcas Madanji, Dr. James Isaiah Onyango, Mr. Ambrose Ogosi, Mr. Washington Akach, among others.

Niece of the late Mwalimu John Yuko, the late Dr. Melchizedek Ogosi, the late Hannington Anyango, the late Debora Mbudi, the late Elizabeth Jangaya, the late Luke Ogonji, the late Dr. James Akach, Martin Olewe, Tairus Yuko, Festus Onyango, the late Roselinda Achieng, Caren Jaling’ and Selpha Odero, among others. Aunt of Diana Achola and Natalie Willox; Dr. Elaine Yuko, Dr. Atieno Semo, Mercy Ogosi, John Yuko, Lucia Agono, Maxwel Omondi, among others.

There will be a fund raiser at All-Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 7th September 2021 from 5:30 pm to off-set funeral expenses.

Funeral service will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Thursday 9th September 2021 at 12 noon. Burial will take place in Bluebell Cemetery, Watercroft’s Wood, Old London Road, Halstead, Kent,TN147AE, on Friday 10th September 2021.
