ATHANAS OBUDHO GWANDHO

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Athanas Obudho Gwandho of Barding Sub Location, South Alego Location Siaya County formerly of Nation Media Group with occurred on 11 th October 2024 at JOOTRH Kisumu.

He was the son of the late Martin Gwandho and the late Pauline Gwandho. Husband of Fibi Akinyi.

Brother of the late Maria Apina, the late John Otiato, the late Dr Cleophas Otieno, the late Gaudencia Sewe, the late Norbert Okanga, the late Godfrey Oduor, the late Paul Ochieng and Margaret Adhiambo.

Brother-in-law of John Ooko, Andrew Dondo, the late Boaz Ochieng, Samson Onyango, Julius Otieno, Paul Okoth, Ruth Anyango, the late Matheleda Ngonga.

Son-in-law of the late Christopher Odongo and the late Susan Odongo.

His children include Roselyn Wafula the late Lydia Asewe, Crispin Warima, Fredrick Odongo, Emily Atieno, Pauline Anyango, Paul Ochieng, Susan Awour and Martin Gwandho.

Father-in-law of Isaac Mwibanda, Joyce, Richard Odhiambo, Grace Akinyi, Joy, Charles Fondo,Winfred Muasya.

Grandfather to many and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Jerusalem Estate block J9 2688 Nairobi from 6.00pm.

There will be a requiem mass at St. Mathew on 30/10/2024 from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kisumu on 30/10/2024 at 11.00am. The burial will take place on 31/10/24 at his home in Barding.
