B.G KARIUKI (ADVOCATE)

It is with deep sorrow and with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of B.G Kariuki which occurred on Friday 6th January 2023. He was an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths and Senior Counsel.

Son to the late Gedion Gathekia and the late Priscah Wambui Gathekia of Chinga Othaya, Nyeri.

Loving Husband to Susan Karwitha Kariuki. Father to Kenneth Bundi (Tz), Gedion Gathekia (Meru), Augustine Gatebu (Isiolo), Prisca Wambui (Nairobi), Sarah Muthoni (Meru), Terry Karambu (USA) and Jerry Koome (Nairobi).

Brother to the late Millicent Ndeu, the late Cecilia Thuo, Rev Eleazer Gathekia, the late Melchizedee Kingi, Doris Mwangi, Abigail Muigah, Pastor Irene Mugo and Shem Gathekia (Gura Primary).

Grandfather to Susan Bundi, Susan Gathekia,Aaron Kiema, Malaika Kiema, Collins Bundi, Davies Bundi, Prudence, Abigael, Jayden, Kariuki Koome amongst others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his Kinoru Home and Westwind Hotel Makutano Meru from 6.00pm for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Tuesday 17th January 2023 9.00am. There will be a requiem mass at St Joseph Cathedral Church Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Kinoru Home.
